This article is so long that it is difficult for me to understand it clarity. Therefore, in my opinion, it is better to read it paragraph by paragraph. Approximately, it is easy to go through the passage from two to five, and I don't know the mean of the word "myths" in paragraph 3 ?

As the roman philosopher Cicero put in, “There is no fool who is happy , and no rise man who is not.” But I don’t agree with him If the man who is rise he understand happy deeply and have more demand to happiness So he will spent more time and energy seeking happiness.

When he is seeking, he will face many difficult problems and bear much venation. In the end, he maybe get happiness, but he lost more. If the man who is fool, he have less expectation. He hopes to live with his family. May be the life is very poverty. But the white of family member, can make him happy. So I don’t think rise man is happier than fool man.

There’s a phrase, “give no clue to”, which means “have nothing to do with something”.

In the process of living, everyone is looking for happiness everywhere. But in the present no person knows what kind of people are favored by happiness......

It is my second time to read the passage in Unit1, but I also find it is a little difficult, especially I can’t grasp the means of words in this passage well.

When I read the first five passages, I found that there were two new words I didn’t familiar with. I couldn’t find them at new words list either. But I wanted to guess their meanings by myself. I paid attention to the word “rage” and the 10th line.

After I read the frist page of the text, I find several answers to the anthor's intention .
At the begining of the text, the author raises 3 questions about happiness.

To my excited, I learn a pair of antonym –“gloom” and “joy”. It is enriching my vocabulary.
