There are too many new words protect me from continue reading particularly, I can’t fully make of this complex sentence: one could reason that pessimists, whose low expectations are so often exceeded, would constantly be surprised by joy. (in paragraph 9)

There is no denying that the qualities for our living link with we mood and a optimistic mood have a great influence on our health. An advantage of keeping a optimistic state of mind is that it will provide we for a relax atmosphere to studying or living.

When I read paragraph 6-10 in Unit1, I find some problems.

In the 6 paragraphs, the author put forward a question, if we can get more happiness with the developing of living standards, the answer is no. Because in the different period, the definition of happiness is different, it will be changed by time going.

I think I am much more familiar with author’s intention according to read the paragraph 6 to 10 carefully.

Paragraph six answers the third question which the author arises in the opening of this article.

In section 2 , there are many strange words. I use much time to understand them.

After I read paragraph 6 to 11, I realized the happiness deeper. Although philosophers researched the happiness for long time, nobody can make everyone happy in the whole life.
